From the Kentucky Derby to the Saint James Art Fair, Louisville is a city with a diverse calendar of events that's sure to please people of all interests and opinions. Personally, my favorites are Thunder Over Louisville, Light Up Louisville, the Saint James Art Fair, and the Great Chili Cook-off at Phoenix Hill Tavern, but my favorites are probably not the same as yours. Street Rod Nationals
- The 2009 show was great! Motel parking lots on each side of the river are full of beautiful hot rods and people having fun. Kroger offers a $2 discount on your admission ticket.

Kentucky Flea Market
- My husband and I enjoy this outstanding flea market several times per year. New in 2009 is a Thanksgiving show on November 27-28-29! That will get us in the holiday shopping spirit for sure!
