Historic Locust Grove
- Locust Grove has to be the most dynamic historic house and museum I've ever seen. I go often, but I've never had the same experience twice. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and helpful. The grounds are fantastic, and the weddings there are gorgeous. My family loves the costumed reenactment events like the 18th Century Market Fair in October, but I love the Gardener's Fair in May and the Antique Fairs in June and September, just sorry I missed the Jane Austen Festival last month. We can hardly wait to see the newest restoration, or as my kids call it, the re-restoration; painters have been there for a month. Now I'm looking forward to the next time in-laws come to visit.

Downtown Stretch of I-64
- Louisville never ceases to take my breath away when I'm driving along the river at night on I-64 through Downtown Louisville. The light from the buildings and the bridges is so ethereal and amazing -- it makes me feel proud to live here.

Churchill Downs
- I take all of my friends to Churchill Downs. Everyone wants to go there because of the Derby, and I love an excuse to bet on the horses.
