I usually use Labor Day weekend to get caught up on my chores and then spend the Monday of Labor Day doing something fun. However, there are plenty of exciting events going on all weekend that you shouldn't miss.
ZooTember Movie Night

First Friday Trolley Hop

Worldfest

What: WorldFest is an annual celebration of Louisville's diverse population of international citizens. From samplings of foods from all over the world to a constant talent showcase of the music and dancing of other nations, there is plenty of culture to gain at WorldFest.
Labor Day Weekend at Westport Village
When: September 4-6Where: Westport Village
What: An end of summer celebration with live music and a sidewalk sale at Westport Village.
Mayor's Healthy Hometown Hike and Bike
When: September 7Where: Waterfront Park to Iroquois Park
What: Bring the family for this free hike and bike ride through the streets of Louisville to Iroquois Park, featuring a bike rodeo held before the ride teaching safe riding for youth, t-shirt and bike helmet giveaways, and Healthy Hometown booths and food vendors.
Cherokee Triangle Summer Concert Series
When: September 7Where: Willow Park
What: This free concert in Cherokee Park will occur on Labor Day from 7-9 p.m. and feature live swing music by the Ovation Orchestra. Please bring canned goods for Highland Community Ministry's food pantry.
