Black Friday in Louisville

Black Friday Trolley Hop

What: This special Black Friday trolley hop lasts all day, from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and features Christmas shopping and art browsing at all of Frankfort Avenue's favorite independent businesses and art galleries.
Light Up Louisville

What: This day-long celebration draws more than 75,000 attendees and features music, a parade, and a market, ending with the lighting of Jefferson Square and the Louisville Christmas tree.
Louisville Orchestra Holiday Spectacular

What: Jason Weinberger leads the Louisville Orchestra, the Louisville Youth Choir, and the audience in songs to welcome the season. The festivities are at the Brown Theatre at 7 p.m. and may include a visit from a friend from the North Pole. The program will include many seasonal favorites including selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite and the Overture from Richman’s Hanukkah Festival.
Light Up St. Matthews

What: Light Up St. Matthews features Radio Disney, letters to Santa, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, train rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, Ronald McDonald, strolling carolers, cookies, hot chocolate and apple cider, and more. At 6:00 pm the switch is thrown and Brown Park lights up.
Light Up the Village

What: This annual Westport Village Christmas lights unveiling event includes the holiday tradition of pictures with Santa, horse-drawn sleigh rides, an outdoor Christmas concert, local choirs, and Christmas carolers.
