Stop Eight: First Methodist Church Corydon

(c) 2008 Michael Maupin

After exploring the historic objects and memorials that are scattered within the town square around the Harrison County Courthouse and Old Capitol Building, head east to the opposite side of the town square. Here you'll find two historic buildings: the first Methodist church in Corydon and the Grand Masonic Lodge. The Grand Masonic Lodge was built in 1817, and the Methodist church was built in 1826.
