At the corner of Walnut Street and North Capitol Avenue sits the towering Harrison County Courthouse. However, what is used as the Harrison County Courthouse today is not the original. The courthouse that is in use today was built in 1929, long after the time when Corydon served as the capitol of Indiana.
The Harrison County Courthouse of today serves as both a courthouse and a memorial to Corydon's past. It sits on the historic town square with the Old Capitol Building, and it is surrounded by objects that tell stories of the town's rich history.
