First Friday Trolley Hop

What: A tour of dozens of galleries in Downtown Louisville’s art district, taking participants to several different art galleries located on the Main, Market, and Fourth Street strips.
Louisville Visual Arts Festival Kickoff

What: The Louisville Visual Arts Festival is an annual festival with a different theme each year, geared to raising awareness of Louisville's visual arts community regionally, nationally, and internationally. The inaugural celebration highlights the photographic art and creative community of Louisville's Center for Photographic Studies.
Louisville Gay and Lesbian Film Series
When: June 5th – July 2ndWhere: Apex Village 8 Theaters
What: The annual Louisville Gay and Lesbian Film Series is part of the Louisville Exclusives Films project which brings art and foreign films to the Louisville community. Apex Entertainment will be promoting this event with the Kentucky Fairness Alliance.
Friends of the Library Book Sale

What: This used book sale features adult and children books for $3 of less and benefits the Louisville Free Public Library.
Day Out With Thomas 2009
When: June 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14thWhere: Kentucky Railway Museum
What: This fun-filled event offers preschoolers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas and Friends TV series. Children and their families will get to enjoy activities for the whole family, including arts and crafts, storytelling, video viewing, and live music.
Let It Ride Poker Run

What: The Dare to Care Food Bank and the Yum! Brands Foundation are hosting the second annual Let It Ride Poker Run to raise hunger awareness in our community. This event is open to the public and geared toward motorcycle enthusiasts.
Designer Wear Sale
When: June 6thWhere: Clifton Center
What: Margaret’s Consignment will host this designer wear sale featuring women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, home interiors, and accessories. All items will be $10 and under, and proceeds will benefit United Hill Crescent Ministries.
