Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a nationally-renown amusement park right here in the middle of Louisville. Kentucky Kingdom has more than 40 rides, including several roller coasters, water rides, and children's rides. In addition to its rides, Kentucky Kingdom also offers a variety of live attractions during its open season. The theme park is a great place to catch a live Looney Tunes character show or a major concert.
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is open seasonally from April to October. Before Memorial Day and after Labor Day, the park is only open on weekends. From Memorial Day until Labor Day, both the theme park and the water park are open daily. Kentucky Kingdom's water park, Splashwater Kingdom, is home to a 750,000 gallon wave pool, a water coaster, and a splash park.
