Media Days
Media days feature members of popular local media outlets holding meet and greet sessions with the public. Media Days are held in the South Wing and generally feature personalities from local news stations, newspapers, and radio stations.
Military Exhibit
Held in the parking lot of the South Wing, the military exhibit displays military equipment and vehicles. A rock-climbing wall is a popular feature of this exhibit, and military recruiters are on hand to offer information to those interested in joining a branch of the military.
Animal Exhibits
Young children love to go to the Kentucky State Fair to see the animal exhibits. The fair always has a variety of animal exhibits and competitions, including cow, bird, goat, rabbit, pig, and horse displays. The animal exhibits at the Kentucky State Fair are held in the West Wing of the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.
Kids' Exhibit
Every year, a section of the South Wing is dedicated to providing learning and entertaining activities for kids. Comedians, magicians, and other performers are on stage in the kids' exhibit throughout the fair, and the stage is also surrounded by many fun, interactive learning exhibits.
Health Exhibit
The health exhibit is held in another section of the South Wing and serves as a health information and screening center. Doctors and nurses throughout the health exhibit offer their services, such as immunizations, health screenings, and dental and oral care.[ p]
Commercial Exhibit
Many people look forward to going to the Kentucky State Fair every year to go shopping at the commercial exhibits. The commercial exhibit area is where product demonstrators, local groups, and many businesses gather to sell or promote their products and services.
