Yarmuth's Voice of the People
Wednesday April 9, 2008
Do you have a personal story that is the basis for your opinion on an issue? Have you ever wished that you could share that story with the people that make the laws in this country? Well, now you can. 3rd District Kentucky Congressman John Yarmuth is asking for residents to email him their personal stories so that he can read them on the floor of the House of Representatives.
The stories must be less than 200 words in length and can be submitted through the Voice of the People page of Yarmuth's website. The chosen stories will be read to the House of Representatives and broadcast on C-SPAN nationwide in an attempt to remind government officials that the people are the ones they're working for.
