nullDust off your picnic baskets, it's time for Shakespeare in the Park. This year, the oldest free Shakespeare festival in the country performs Twelfth Night, a comedy Bard scholars estimate was written in 1601 or 1602.

Performances take place Tuesday through Sunday at 8:30 p.m. and pre-show entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m. Twelfth Night runs June 20-July 14, preview performances are staged June 18 and 19.

Kentucky Shakespeare is hosting Monday movie nights again this year, too. Of course, concessions and a full bar are available during play performances and movie screenings. Come out and enjoy the fun!

June 24: "Oz: The Great and Powerful"
July 1: "Argo"
July 8: "Les MiserablÚs"
July 15: "The Princess Bride"
July 22: "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

I'm working on the July event calendar now. Do you know of a fun summer event to add? Let me know!
