An Evening with Poe
Halloween has passed, but the Frazier History Museum still has a few Poe readings to go. The museum's Interpretations Department chose six poems and two short stories, penned by Poe, to stage this year.

The Bard's Town is staging 44 Plays For 44 Presidents, a tale of our presidential past with 2-minutes devoted to each of the 44 presidents. Shows are Nov. 1-4 and Nov. 6-10, all performances are at 7:30 p.m.
The Opera Stages Cinderella
A Kentucky Opera premiere and a family favorite, the story of Cinderella will be entertaining audiences Friday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m.
Pisgah Lodge 31st Annual Chicken Bar-B-Que

Good Folk Fest
With woodcarvers, graffiti artists and blues musicians, the Good Folk Fest takes place Saturday and Sunday. The festval starts at 10 a.m. both days. Admission is $10 per adult, kids 12 and under are free. See the November Events Calendar for details.
