The Louisville Film Society, a non-profit promoting the art of the moving image, presents the fourth annual Flyover Film Festival, June 7-10.
Launched in 2008, the Flyover Film Festival has gained popularity each year. In 2011, the festival brought first screening of the Oscar-nominated "Winter's Bone," featuring Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence, to the area.
This year, 36 films will make their Kentucky premieres. Screenings will take place at the Speed Art Museum, the Dreamland Film Center, and Headliners Music Hall. A complete list of films, times and events is available at the Flyover Film Festival website.
