Please, help us. My sister and I are coming from Georgia to visit my niece and her two very young children (8 months and 2 years old), and I am bringing my two tweens. We want to know which malls or shopping areas we should check out that would appeal to them all. I am hoping for train rides, fantastic decorations, sitting on Santa's lap, etc. My niece and husband are stationed at Ft Knox, so they are not very familiar with Louisville, although this summer we did find the zoo!

I would definitely encourage you to check out The Summit. This holiday season, they're offering photos with Santa and sleigh rides for the kids. It's a strip mall, and the outside is all decorated with Christmas lights. Plus, they have a Build-A-Bear Workshop and several baby/toddler clothing shops like Gymboree and Baby GAP.

For the tweens, there are a ton of stores at The Summit that they'll want to check out: Express, GAP, Old Navy, and Hollister, among others. Also, there is a Barnes and Noble for everyone to enjoy and lots of really great restaurants. While all of the malls are doing something for Christmas, The Summit seems to have the biggest selection for a group with people of all ages like yours (Visit Their Website).
