Have one drink at every bar you come to on either side of the road. If you can make it all the way down Bardstown Road to Phoenix Hill Tavern, then you will forever have king status among the drinkers of Louisville.
Sound familiar? That's right, it time again for the sloppy Bardstown Road parade that is known as the Bambi Walk. Thanks to an in-the-know reader, I've learned that the 2009 Bambi Walk is taking place this month on August 29. If you love to drink and want to see who among your friends can party the longest, head out to the Bambi Bar on August 29 to take part in the event.
