Get Your Fix for Shakespeare
Tuesday June 23, 2009
I feel just terrible that the Shakespeare in the Park production of Macbeth came and went and I didn't go to see it or remind all of you that it was playing. This month has flown by. Still, I'm going to make up for it by telling you where you can get your fix for Shakespeare this summer.
Shakespeare in Central Park will be featuring Romeo and Juliet on June 30, July 1-5, and July 7-12. Then, they will feature Hamlet from July 15-19. All performances are free and held at the amphitheater in Central Park. Curtain is at 8 p.m. (Learn More).
Actors Theatre is hosting A Midsummer Night's Dream from September 29 through October 24 (Learn More). If you can't wait that long to see it or want to watch a couple different adaptations, you can also catch it at Corydon's Hayswood Theater from July 10-26 (Learn More).
