Last week I couldn't find anything to blog about; this week I have way too many things I want to share. Go figure.
Free Prescription Discount Card: If you're tired of spending a ton of money on prescriptions your family has to have, head over to Kentucky RX Card and print a free prescription discount card. The Kentucky RX Card provides cardholders with the lowest plan price on prescriptions at participating pharmacies.
48-Hour Film Festival: The Louisville 48-Hour Film Project is now accepting registration for teams to make short films for the 2009 48-Hour Film Festival. Register as soon as possible to qualify for the lower-cost early-bird registration fee.
In Memoriam: If you've lost a friend or family member while they were serving the Kentucky Army and Air National Guard, add their name to the online memorial at the Kentucky National Guard Memorial Fund website.
Coupons and Concerts: The Louisville Downtown Management District is offering a series of free concerts at Fourth Street Live! through September. A list of the concerts as well as a ton of coupons for Downtown Louisville restaurants, shops, and attractions can be found on the Summer in the City website.
Haven't We Seen This Before: WHAS11 has a new web feature called LinkTown where Kentuckiana residents can rate local businesses. The Better Business Bureau and Google both have somewhat similar features.
School's Out, Camp Time: The first summer camp sessions start on Monday (6/8). If you're interested in enrolling your child in summer camp, check out my list of 2009 summer camps.
Take a Hike: Tomorrow (6/6) is National Trails Day. Get out and enjoy one of our beautiful local parks.
