End-of-Year Cleaning Edition
Monday December 29, 2008
2008 ends on Wednesday, so I'm going through all of the links I've been saving up but haven't yet devoted a post to this year. I can't start off 2009 with all of this buildup.
Recycle Your Christmas Tree: It costs nothing to recycle your Christmas tree at the Louisville Tree-Cycling Centers on Hubbards Ln., Outer Loop, and Meriwether Ave., so there's no reason not to.
Become a Friend of Lou: If you're unfamiliar with the Possibility City branding initiative, you should head over to the Courier-Journal to read this lovely explanation by Jonathan Blue, Chairman of Greater Louisville Inc.
Fulfill a Resolution: Louisville Dance News has a list of adult dance classes going on in Louisville in 2009.
This Might Be More Your Style: If you're planning to run the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon or miniMarathon in 2009, you might want to look into the free Jewish Hospital Sports Medicine Healthy Lifestyle Training Program.
If You Like Books: You'll love the catalog of locally-grown books over at Butler Books. Rick over at The 'Ville Voice posted about it before Christmas, but I had to share this little treasure with those of you who missed his post.
