Best Christmas Displays in Louisville

A few weeks back, I asked my friends in the Louisville Forum for help in finding the best Christmas light displays in town this year. I wanted to take my daughter out for what I've decided to call "Christmas cruising," driving around town to look at the houses with the best decorations. We went Christmas cruising every year when I was a kid, and I want my family to continue the tradition.

My forum friends, always very helpful, informed me of the following displays. I thought I'd share them with you since you might want to do some Christmas cruising before the lights go out at the end of the week:

• 5100 block of Sunshine Drive, 40219
  
• 7000 block of John Paul Lane, 40229
  
• 8900 block of Adams Run Court, 40228
  
• Ashfield Lane south of Lowe Road
  
• The area northeast of the intersection of Breckenridge Lane and Taylorsville Road
