My New Favorite Local Shop
Tuesday September 30, 2008
Last Friday I took off from work and spent the day wandering about town with my husband. We decided to go over to Book and Music Exchange in the Highlands. When we were leaving, I noticed Why Louisville across the street. I'd never been in there before, but I'd been to their website and always wanted to visit the store personally. So, we crossed the street (via the crosswalk - it's a dangerous section of Bardstown Road) and started browsing.
Why Louisville has so many fabulous things that I could have spent a ton of money there. However, I flexed my modest muscles and only bought a purple hoodie and two fleur-de-lis stickers, one for my car and one for my husband's. My hoodie is so amazingly soft that I haven't wanted to take it off since I bought it. I'd urge everyone who hasn't been to Why Louisville to stop by sometime and check out their merchandise or, at the very least, visit their website.
