Skip One Movie, See One Play

Wednesday August 27, 2008
If you've never been to Actors Theatre to see a play, you might be interested in heading out there for the 2008-2009 season while you can get up to two $10 tickets as a first-time patron of the theatre. It's a great alternative to spending another date night watching a movie and no more expensive. These "Try Us Out" tickets are available by phone before the show or at the Actors Theatre box office.

The $10 tickets won't be available for A Tuna Christmas or Dracula, but there are plenty of other fantastic plays that are worth seeing this season, including Pride and Prejudice, A Raisin in the Sun, Glengarry Glen Ross, and A Christmas Carol. I highly suggest that you splurge and see at least one play at Actor's Theatre this year. I've been many times, and it's always an amazing experience.
