Thousand Poets and the First Friday Trolley Hop

Friday April 4, 2008
If you're planning on going to the First Friday Trolley Hop tonight, you might be interested in knowing that Thousand Poets will be teaming up with the Trolley Hop for the opening events of their National Poetry Month celebration. Participating poets will be reading poetry on the street and in the galleries, with the main event beginning at 8 p.m. at St. John's Renaissance Theater.

Admission to the show at St. John's is $5 and includes readings by Erin Keane and Adam Day and music by The Big Time Band and Brett Eugene Ralph. This is just one of a series of events scheduled for April by Thousand Poets in honor of National Poetry Month. For more information about Thousand Poets or for a full schedule of events, see their official website.
